7 Energy places near the human body called Chakras, discovered thousands of years ago by spiritual Healers from India.
Chakra is a word in Sanskriet (this is a language in India), and Chakra means wheel. This is because the energy rotates like a wheel in a circle in and around the human body. And energy is in Sanskriet prana.
The Chakras works from themselves and develop with age. When you are working with the Chakras, you need to be in good health; For example when you have influenza and or fever, you are not going to work in the garden, first you get better and then you go and work in the garden. Chakras can be energy full or energy low.
1e Muladhara - Root Chakra
The Root Chakra is located around the bottom of the spine. And it has been given the color Red.The element associated with the Root Chakra is the Earth. The Root Chakra is also called the Base Chakra, and is important for the proper functioning of the other Chakras. The Root chakra that draws energy from the earth and represents stability and security.
2e Svadhisthana - Sacral Chakra
The Sacral Chakra is located below the navel. And it has been given the color Orange. The element associated with the Sacral Chakra is Water. The Sacral chakra represents feeling, self-esteem, self-awareness and vitality.
3e Manipura - Solar plexus Chakra
The Solar plexus Chakra is located above the navel. And it has been given the color yellow. The element associated with the Solar plexus Chakra is Fire (that corresponds to the Sun). The Solar plexus chakra represents intuition, vitality, strength and activity.
4e Anahata - Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra is located at the chest and beneath the shoulder blades. And it has been given the colors light green and light pink. Air is the element associated with the Heart Chakra. The Heart chakra represents love, compassion, harmony and creativity.
5e Vishuddha - Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is located at the throat and neck and extends to the mouth, nose, eyes, and ears. And it has been given the color light blue. The element associated with the Throat Chakra is the Cosmos. The Throat chakra represents communication and interpretation, verbal expression and written creativity, concentration and learning ability.
6e Ajna - Forehead Chakra
The Forehead Chakra is located between the eyebrows. The Forehead Chakra is also called the Third eye Chakra. And it has been given the color dark blue (indigo). The element associated with the Forehead Chakra is Light. The Forehead chakra represents clear thinking, spiritual contemplation and self-reflection, awareness, knowledge and wisdom.
7e Sahasrara - Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head. And it has been given the color purple. The element associated with the Crown Chakra is Thought and Awareness. The Crown chakra represents spirituality, knowledge, and wisdom.
The colors of the Chakras correspond with the natural phenomenon; the colors of the Rainbow.
The Lotus Flowers are used as a symbol of Authenticity with the Chakras.
